Hidden Clips or Face Screws?

Hidden clips fit a compatible groove in the board edge. Confirm the groove, clip model and specified spacing before ordering. A hidden-fastener layout may still need face screws at starter boards, borders or other details.

For square-edge boards and face-fastened details, select suitable stainless-steel screws and any matching plugs. Follow the exact hardware instructions for predrilling, countersinking, screw placement and fastening. Tell us about stairs, borders and changes in board direction when requesting quantities.

Surface Finish or End-Grain Sealer?

Ipe Oil is a surface finish for exterior hardwood; Ipe Seal is an end-grain sealer for fresh cuts. They serve different purposes. Do not apply Ipe Seal to walking surfaces. Follow the selected product’s preparation, application and handling instructions.
